Vincam Healthcare started from the experience of taking care of grandparents who were living with Alzheimer’s disease. Navigating the system, dealing with piecemeal information, finding qualified and trustworthy caregivers  was an exercise in frustration. But the duty and responsibility of taking care of them in a loving and respectful manner was non-negotiable.

This loyalty and dedication to quality care extended to assisting a neighbour living alone without family members while suffering from Parkinson’s disease.

As a social worker, I was determined to ensure that family members taking care of loved ones didn’t have to go through an agonizing experience. This is particularly difficult if one is balancing caregiving with external employment and other family responsibilities.

Research has shown that seniors living alone are vulnerable to isolation and depression. At Vincam Healthcare, we strive to achieve happiness.  To recapture the things that are meaningful and once brought  happiness.
